We are DEPLOY!, a team of students selected for ESA Education’s PETRI programme 2023. The DEPLOY! Project (two-phase fluid pressure drops analysis for a helicoidal capillary heat pipe) is a research project focused on a Deployable Pulsating Heat Pipe, a device used in space to cool down hot sources.
In order to properly observe and study how a PHP works, the experiment needs to be conducted in a very unique environment: in microgravity.

Behind the scenes, there is an international team of engineering students from Universities of Pisa, Brighton and Parma. We are mechanical, aerospace, robotics and energy engineers. We are thrilled to work on this project and we are going to put a lot of effort into it.
Nice to meet you!

Our experiment comes with a lot of excitement, but also a lot of costs, hard work and issues. To complete such a project we need the support of our professors, our Universities, sponsor organization and all the people who cheer for us.
We are beyond grateful for the support and guidance you are giving us!
